| Some homelots on "The Street" in Deerfield include an orchard. Families relied on a seasonal harvest of fruit to provide cider, a staple beverage. Apples were eaten fresh, and were also dried to be used later. See a variety of familiar and creative apple dishes from early recipes. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Included with general admission. In the Hall Tavern Kitchen at Historic Deerfield located at 80 Old Main Street in Deerfield. |
